Manel Martínez-Ramón, King Felipe VI Endowed Chair and Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, is the author of a new textbook on the subject of deep learning.
Deep Learning: A Practical Introduction, published by Wiley, covers both the theoretical and practical elements of deep learning, offering extensive examples, exercises, homework, exam material, and a GitHub repository containing code and data for all provided examples.
The book is described as appropriate for both undergraduate and graduate students, especially those studying computer vision, computer science, artificial intelligence and neural networks. Subjects include TensorFlow, Keras and Pytorch. The book is also designed to benefit practitioners and researchers in the fields of deep learning and machine learning in general.
