Arjun Aryal Wins Best Student Paper Award at 2023 SPIE Conference

ECE PhD Student Arjun Aryal won the 2023 Intel Supply Chain Award for Best Student Papers at the 2023 SPIE Advanced Lithography + Patterning Conference.
This award, presented at the SPIE Conference (San Jose, CA Feb 26-March 2) celebrates the authors’ ability to present and explain their work orally as well as the technical excellence of the subsequent manuscript. The reward comes with a prize money of $1500 and a certificate.

Arjun Aryal et.al paper is entitled “Realization of High-Q Lamb Wave Resonator with Smooth Vertical Etching Profile for Thin Film Lithium Niobate.”
The paper explores the use of high-quality etched profile of Lithium Niobate Material System to develop high performance Acoustic Resonators for sensing applications. The research was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Tito Busani.
