Schamiloglu Book Enters 3rd Edition

Schamiloglu Book Enters 3rd EditionECE professor Edl Schamiloglu announced the publication of the third edition of "High Power Microwaves." The book was co-authored by Schamiloglu and is published by CRC press, a division of Taylor and Francis.

"High Power Microwaves" was originally published in 1992 by  James Benford and John Swegle. Professor Schamiloglu joined as coauthor for the 2nd Edition published in 2007.  The 3rd Edition was led by Professor Schamiloglu and updates the text in this rapidly changing field.

John H. Booske, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, referred to the third edition as a tour-de-force of high power microwave and affiliated technologies.

"This must-have book should be the first place to consult to get up to speed on what is known in HPM generation," said Booske,

Andres Neuber of Texas Tech University called it a classic and said, “the current edition . . . is useful for graduate teaching as well as a general reference for the HPM designer/researcher."

And Gregory Nusinovch, from the University of Maryland said, “anyone wishing to educate or update understanding of HPM sources and systems should have this book on the desk."
