Abstract Submission

Abstract submission deadline:  February 10, 2015

There are two separate sites for abstract submission – one for PPC and another for SOFE.  Please ensure you have selected the appropriate submission site.

SOFE:           http://www.npss-confs.org/SOFE

After clicking the link, you will be directed to set up an account (unless you already have one). Once you are in the submission site, you will be given step-by-step instructions on how to submit an abstract.

All abstracts submitted must follow the templates provided and meet the IEEE standards of originality and quality. Abstracts should explicitly indicate the elements of the research that are new (in contrast to previous abstracts submitted to other conferences) … this will aid in the abstract review process.

A Microsoft Word template for the abstract can below.  Simply replace the text found in the template with your text. Note: Abstracts are limited to 500 words.

Click here for the SOFE 2015 template!

Abstracts will be reviewed by the program committees and authors will be notified of acceptance by March 21, 2015.  Once an abstract has been officially accepted for presentation at PPC 2015 SOFE, the registered participant will be allowed to submit a manuscript that relates to that particular abstract.

Note: student authors wishing to be considered for the best student paper award should check the appropriate box during the abstract submission process.  In addition, a letter from the student’s academic advisor must be sent to the appropriate awards committee chair to verify the student’s status and first authorship of the work.
