IEEE ComSoc Summer School

The IEEE Communications Society has announced that it will hold its third annual "ComSoc" Summer School at ECE from July 17-20. Selected students will be provided with free registration, lodging and meals for the four days of the event.

The IEEE ComSoc Summer School is designed for young professionals, Ph.D. students, or recent graduates studying communications and related areas. It consists of lectures by international experts and includes poster presentations by participating Ph.D. students. The program covers fundamental, advanced and hot topics in communications.

The confirmed speakers for this event include: Anna Scaglione, Arizona State University; Alberto Leon-Garcia, University of Toronto; Fabrizio Granelli, University of Trento and Nelson Fonseca, University of Campinas.

The presenters for the extended hands-on and industrial program include: Rhys Bowley, National Instruments; Petros Spachos, University of Guelph and Ioannis Papapanagiotou, Netflix.
